Crawford Software has developed a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for Epicor ERP, versions 9 and 10. With the enhanced functionality developed by Crawford Software, you now have full control of the part master and its use in the system.

At the beginning of the life cycle, allow the creation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders with a warning, the warning message will include the effective date and hold indicator assigned. All other transactions including adding to a sales order, adding to a bill of material, and more will generate an error, and not allow the transaction to be completed. As the product moves to the next level of approval, limited release for internal builds you can change the flag to allow the part to be added to bills of materials or jobs, but keep the block on sales orders or any other outbound transactions to help ensure the product that is not fully released is not sent to a customer. Finally move to full release allowing all transactions in the system. Our core release includes template codes for an entire life cycle of the part master from cradle to grave, including references for quality hold and limited release to strategic customers.
