Steve is a functional consultant with over 20 years of experience in ERP software implementations and functional consulting. Over the past seventeen years, Steven has served as an individual contributor, team lead, and project manager for ERP implementations, upgrades, and functional enhancements. Steven has overseen the functional design, testing design, validation, and implementation in his roles. Steven’s core area of expertise is Materials Management and Production Planning but is equally versed in Sales and Distribution and Product Configuration. With extensive cross-functional experience, he has the ability to understand the functional requirement and business process from the beginning of the process to the end of the process. With a background as a technical developer in legacy environments, Steve can convert functional requirements into a technical design outline that can be quickly developed for enhancements when required. Having done training, on-site and remote for the past ten years Steve has an approach that simplifies and eases the introduction of a new system or new functionality to the user. Having worked at four major medical device manufacturers Steve has a deep knowledge of the regulatory and business requirements of satisfying an FDA or TUV audit including regulatory control of the bill of material and bill of operations for the manufacturing process.

Steve founded Crawford Software in 2001 as a services company specializing in SAP functional consulting and GrowthPower programming and design work. Over the past 15 years, he has guided Crawford Software as it has expanded and grown from a single person to a company with more than fifty consultants worldwide. In 2005 Crawford Software became an SAP Service partner and is one of the regions premier boutique SAP consulting firms providing highly qualified functional and technical consultants to clients in New England and around the world. In 2008 Crawford Software became an Epicor Partner for implementation and services. In 2015 Crawford Software upgraded its partnership with Epicor becoming VAR and solution provider. Crawford Software now has multiple Epicor standard solutions designed to augment and improve the software’s functionality. During 2018 Crawford Software is expanding, adding more functional and technical consultants, while maintaining the same level of care and dedication to quality that has helped the company continue its exceptional growth.

Engineering Experience:

• Multiple webinars on the engineering process in Epicor, both webinars for large audiences and multiple times at local Epicor User Groups.
• Training and certification related to all levels of the engineering process in Epicor ERP using revision control, the engineering workbench, multiple versions, alternate versions, and sub-contracting process.
• Designed and supervised the development of the Crawford Software standard solution to enhance product lifecycle functionality to limit transactional features allowing for a part master at different stages of development, use, and end of life.
• Implemented standard and best business practices for the use of engineering control at a medical device OEM supplier using Epicor ERP 9.
• Implementation of SAP at multiple medical device clients to support ECO control for regulated products being produced including all required release steps and quality holds.
